Former England and Warwickshire batsman Dennis Amiss has been formally retained as deputy chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board.

Dennis played 50 tests for England between 1966 and 1977 scoring 11 test hundreds including a career best 262 against the West Indies in the 73-74 test series. He finished with an test average of 46.30. He is also famous for scoring England's first ODI century. He became a patron at Whittington in 2009.

Whitt hope to see more of Dennis over the coming season as our ground plans take shape.
